Last Sunday (the first day of fashion week here in Toronto) I collaborated with the designers over at SDNR Clothing (www.sdrclothing.com) for a fashion show at Tattoo night club. I provided the models with a few swimsuits from my line and was also convinced to be in the show. I was really nervous but somehow pulled it off.. sober to boot! I was afraid to have a drink in-case I wobbled off the stage! That would have made great video footage for you tube ha ha! Anyways I’ve found a few photos from the show via facebook and hopefully I will be able to get more pictures plus the video of the show. It would be nice to see how it all turned out seen as how I blanked out due to nervousness. enjoy!

Are grey streaks really the latest hair trend? Well for Kate Moss they seem to be.. but according to her, “it’s actually light blue”.

If you’re thinking of adopting this new trend, here are some things you should consider.. Grey streaks are easier to add to blonde hair because you simply bleach or high-lift tint the hair and then add an ash toner on top.
But as grey is actually lighter than blonde, brown hair would have to go blonde first – otherwise known as pre-lightening – before the ash tone can be added.
Going an ash shade can also dull ones complextion, especially in the winter! I personally will be skipping this trend this time around.. I’m not so willingly to go grey before I have to.
When shooting swimsuits on the beach I usually go for a heavier eye, because it’s okay if it gets a little messy. But you should never do an elaborate lip. That just doesn’t look natural in the sand and water. It’s also best to use an SPF balm rather than a gloss. A glossy sheen on your lips can attract the suns rays causing them to chap or even burn. On my face I’ll opt for a touch of liquid bronzer rather than a heavy foundation. For the cheeks I’ll use a bit of frosty pink or peach cream blush on the apples of my cheeks… and always sunscreeen!!
So I did a shoot with Kris Josef last friday night.. I did my own make-up and brought a few outfits along.. I decide to rebel against the directions that were givin to me and figured I could find the place without any difficulties.. turns out I was wrong.. I tried to do a little off roading to get there refusing to call for directions, especially since Kris has his directions posted via web page that says in big bold letters *** PRINT THIS BEFORE LEAVING FOR YOUR SHOOT – YOU WILL NEED THE INFO ON IT ***.. I now know why.. and ended up having to make the call..
Once I got there we began shooting.. and I also began causing some chaos.. I tripped into his backdrop tearing a giant rip across the thing.. I came extremely close to actually falling right through the backdrop while trying to be a superhero posing on one foot in heels.. and finally, I caused a light to fall over.. but thankfully it didn’t break.. phew!
Anyways we did manage to capture some really cool shots.. here’s a couple of ‘em 
I went To Cabo at the begining of December for Paul Buceta’s annual Pool Party. It was beyond fun and the pictures from the trip turned out awesome! These are just a fraction of the girls that came on the trip.. Thought I’d share this quick snap shot of us on the beach

The death of McQueen’s mother last week seems to be the cause. It would undoubtedly have taken away his most vital support. McQueen was the youngest of six children
He was scheduled to show his fall 2010 line in Paris in March. He will be missed.

Yesterday I worked with Photographer Vasko Miokovic and did make up for the lovely Kesha Lynn Stevens. We shot it all at the Gladstone Hotel on Queen Street. I couldn’t believe how nice it was! It was my first time inside that hotel and it’s really quite nice. All the rooms have a different themes and are done up by different designers and artists. We shot in the Canadiana Room and it gave us a variety of backgrounds to use..
I personally wanted to swing from the chandelier, but after close inspection I didn’t think it would be a good idea.. isn’t it cool? It’s made out of antlers! Made me wanna drink some jagger

People ask me all the time if I tan, and if I don’t, which self tanners do I use. The truth is I use self tanners and bronzers all the time! especially during the winter months. I’m trying my best to stay out of the suns harmful rays as much as possible these days as it’s much easier to prevent sun damage then to erase it. Much cheaper too
My favorite everyday self tanner is Doves Energy Glow. I slather it on after every shower to lock in moister and build a gradual tan. I love it because it doesn’t give off that horrible ‘wet dog’ self tanner smell and it works.
When I have a special event coming up or a photo shoot to go to, I’ll go for one that gives more of a deeper color. For this I turn to Neutrogena Sun Fresh Mousse in medium/dark. I warn you tho that this one gives off a smell. So put it on the night before or several hours before your date and rinse yourself off in the shower before you get dressed.
If that’s not enough and you want more of a jersey shore look, you better hit up the tanning salon and get shot with their spray tan. Wear loose clothing and make sure it’s not a long car ride home.. the creases in your clothing against your skin can leave marks.. so get naked soon after to let it completly dry. Do heavily moisturize your hands and feet before you enter, and when you get out scrub your heels, ankles and hands.. hard!! It’s really hard to remove once it’s dry. Your best solution is lemon juice and a rough cloth. Good Luck!
I don’t know about you, but the best part of a good movie is seeing the blooper reel at the end. Same goes for modeling. The best part (aside from getting ‘the shot’) is seeing if the photographer caught you while you goofed up.
… yup!!!
